I was worried the earthy tones would look muddy in person, but the checkered pattern is actually really rich and warm. The fabric has just enough grip that my toddler stays put without me having to constantly retighten. It's become my go-to for quick errands.
The gingham pattern in these earthy browns is even nicer in person, and it doesn't clash with anything I wear. It's been my go-to for quick trips with my newborn since it packs down small in the diaper bag.
Took me a few tries to get the threading right, but once it's on my shoulder it stays put. The earthy brown gingham hides spit-up way better than my old plain sling, which is a nice bonus. Only wish the fabric had a touch more stretch for quick ups and downs.
