The lightly padded straps make a huge difference on longer walks — my 40 lb kid rode comfortably for two hours without me adjusting anything. The Art-Deco stitching is a nice touch too, looks way nicer than the plain black carrier we had before.
My 3-year-old is 32 lbs and this actually feels comfortable on my shoulders even after a 40-minute walk. The lightly padded straps don't dig in like the cheap carrier we had before, and the Art-Deco stitching is a nice detail.
