Wore this for a two-hour walk with my toddler and my back didn't ache once. The waist belt actually sits where it should instead of digging into my hips, and my little one fell asleep against my chest without fussing.

I was nervous about back pain on our long hikes, but the weight distribution across my hips is honestly remarkable. The padding on the shoulder straps has held up beautifully through a full season of weekend use, and my toddler seems genuinely comfortable in it too.

The padded shoulder straps actually stay comfortable after an hour of carrying my toddler, which surprised me. Only gripe is that the buckles take a bit of fiddling to adjust while it's already on.
